Mary Jane Veloso’s traffickers are convicted

Mission co-worker the Rev. Cathy Chang (right) gives us an update on Mary Jane Veloso, a domestic worker and human trafficking victim from the Philippines. Her traffickers were recently found guilty. Supporters hope this will lead to justice for Veloso.

March 1 is the final day to apply to serve internationally as a Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) in 2020–21. After that date, applications will be accepted for national sites only, as spots are available. Learn more about YAV and encourage young people ages 19 to 30 to apply for a year of service for a lifetime of change.
