This issue of the Justice & Peace Closeup highlights the Presbyterian Committee on the Self-Development of People (SDOP), which has a big year ahead, celebrating its 50th Anniversary. SDOP was founded in 1970 out of the church’s desire to address poverty and racism by supporting community led projects to enhance the economic life, and create opportunities for its members. SDOP continues to do this important work with its unique community grant process. Join us as we hear from Rev.
